Together for Life is a social program promoted by Provefrut, Nintanga, and Procongelados, born with a firm commitment: to combat childhood malnutrition in the most vulnerable areas of Cotopaxi, specifically Guangaje and Guaytacama. Through comprehensive actions that combine health, nutrition, and education, this program seeks to transform the lives of children ages 0 to 4 and strengthen the role of their mothers as caregivers and community leaders. More than just a helping hand, it is a support network that sows hope, well-being, and a future.
To achieve its goal of combating child malnutrition, the Together for Life program develops a series of comprehensive and ongoing activities in the area.
• Specialized medical brigades
• Monthly delivery of nutritional supplements (protein, vitamins, food)
• Workshops on healthy eating and positive parenting
• Individualized medical and nutritional monitoring
• Network of peer counselors who strengthen the community
• National and international sponsorship plan
Each of these actions responds to a clear strategy: to prevent, educate, and consistently support the most vulnerable families.
