All the practices employed in Provefrut are accredited with specific certifications that help us improve the products that we process. We fulfill quality and safety standards required by our customers according to national and international regulations.
HACCP:
The hazard analysis and critical control points is a systematic process that helps us ensure the food safety of our products. It is an indispensable requirement in food industries at the export level. Our HACCP plan is certified to guarantee compliance for all quality standards.
GMP:
Good Manufacturing Practices, are standards that dictate the food safety practices within our factories.
QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM:
The system implemented in Provefrut is certified by the International Food Standard which guarantees that our process is based on an effective scheme of administration and control of parameters. These are aligned to international and national regulations as well as customer requirements.
ENVIRONMENTAL CERTIFICATION:
Provefrut is certified by the Ministry of Environment of Ecuador, which guarantees compliance with environmental legislation, continuous improvement and prevention of pollution.
BASC:
Bussiness Alliance for Secure Commerce, is an international non-profit business alliance that promotes safe trade in cooperation with governmental and international organizations preventing drug trafficking and terrorism.
GLOBAL GAP:
The fields that supply the processing plant have certification of compliance with Good Agricultural Practices, which helps guarantee the quality and safety of the entire production chain.
HALAL:
This certification guarantees a good manufacturing practices related to food production standards for countries within the Islamic community.
ORGANIC CERTIFICATION:
This certification guarantees that our organic process complies with the production regulations according to the destination market. BCS certifies our production and processes while producing organic products that meet the established legal standards and requirements.
SMETA:
It refers to an Ethical trade audit, that certifies our process with social responsibility standards related to our employees, environment and business ethics.
SAMBITO CERTIFICATION
Esta certificación está avalada por la norma ISO 14064 validada a nivel mundial, donde las empresas pueden medir de forma real y objetiva cuál es su huella ambiental y con esto implementar los cambios necesarios. La certificación de “carbono neutro” otorgada por Servicios Ambientales Totales, nos avalan como una de las pocas empresas en Ecuador comprometidas con el cuidado de los recursos ambientales.
CERTIFICATION OF THE NEUTRALITY OF CO2 EMISSIONS
Contamos con la certificación de la neutralidad de emisiones de CO2, a través de la compra de bonos de carbono para el periodo 2019 – 2021, con el fin de compensar las emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero de nuestro proceso productivo.
